Coping Skills #1

May is Mental Health Month and before it ends I’m going to remind myself of some of my coping skills.   Though they are numbered they can be utilized in any order.

Walk Away – I’ve spent a good deal of my life arguing mainly because I typically believe I have a right to be angry. But I realize it takes two to argue and I benefit the most from walking away. The aggravation I avoid by not having the argument provides a calm that is sustainable.
