Find the Difference

I’ve been in some awful situations and I’ve truly believed that nothing was going to work out.  But when I think about what pushed me forward it was that I expected each day to be different from the previous day.  Even if I had the worst day of my life I believed the next day would be different.  And it was.  Sometimes it was worse than the previous day and my low was redefined but different was better than same to me.  Different was enough to get me out of bed.  Different was enough to get me to work.  And different was enough to move me back to NYC.

If each day is different than one day might be better.
