Face the Sun

Nothing makes me feel better than when I’m sitting in the shade, the sun shifts, and suddenly I’m sitting in the sun.

Maybe I was sitting in the shade just to avoid the sun and heat or maybe there was no sun out at all and the clouds cleared.  Whatever the circumstance I take the moment to feel the rays of the sun bathe my face and chest.  I close my eyes and soak in its free therapy.  The sun has brightened my mood and changed my perspective.  Sometimes I seek it out but when it finds me I feel free of the darkness within me as a bit of hope creeps into my spirit.
