Mental Health Tip: Look Forward to Tomorrow


Everyone tells people who have mental illnesses to stick to a routine and that it is the routine that will keep you healthy.

I lived by this advice and then I realized that sticking to my routine eroded my excitement for each new day.  When I got up I felt like I already knew what was going to happen and all I had to do was get going and go through the motions.

I had to learn to keep my routine in tack and look forward to the next day because the right routine can keep you healthy but the wrong routine can make you very sick.

If you find yourself regretting your day before it begins you may need to change your routine.
