Mental Health Tip: Walk In The Rain

One of the things I really wanted to do once my hair was natural was walk in the rain.  I grew up with my mother constantly telling me not to get my hair wet and all I ever wanted to do was walk outside when it was pouring.

One evening after work as I was getting off the train there was a thunderstorm.  I had the option of waiting it out because it was quick moving.  But my hair was natural and I saw my opportunity.  I secured my glasses in my purse and walked the three blocks home.

Taking the opportunity to do something I’ve always wanted to do is a high I like to repeat as often as possible.
