Facing Forward

June 6

When I was younger I refused to drink coffee.  I hated the taste and associated it with smoking.  I felt as if energy drinks were better and before high school I only had an energy drink about once a year.  During St. Paul’s and continuing into Harvard once a year turned into once a day.  College ended and I was buying Red Bull by the case (that’s what it took to get through four years of business school classes at night).  But now I’m a convert.  The energy drinks were beginning to take its toll and I’ve acquired a taste for coffee.

If I can only keep it to under a cup a day. . .
