Mental Health Tip # 6: Don’t Isolate

don't isolateEvery time I spend a little too much time by myself I begin to think of all the things that are wrong with me and my life.  There’s no greater distraction than a human being (even if it’s a stranger).

Before I became ill I used to push people away and treasure my time spent alone but now a pleasant impromptu conversation can make my day.

I truly believe in me time but I do not need so much of it anymore.  There’s only so much fun I can have by myself and there’s no limit to the fun I can have with people I enjoy being around.
