Mental Health Tip #4: Cry

cryI used to hate to cry.  I would do everything in my power not to cry.  To me it was a sign of weakness.

Now I cry when I watch Disney movies, action flicks, dramas, comedies.  I cry when I read books and occasionally when I listen to music.

More importantly I allow myself to cry when my feelings are hurt or things just aren’t going my way.

Crying is important to me.  I feel better when I cry – ready to face the real world again.
