Breakfast has always been my favorite meal – hash brows, eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, French toast, pancakes – I could eat a helping of each in one sitting.
Burgers and fries were a very close second. When McDonald’s fries are made just right with the perfect amount of salt, fried light and crisp on the outside and soft and warm in the center with just the exact amount of ketchup that lightly coats your finger tips no amount seems to great to acquire them.
Fast food was an $20 journey – $8 each way and a $2 tip. I always made it worth my while and got enough food for 2-3 days.
I read once that if you go without a particular food for 2 weeks you will be able to go the rest of your life without eating it again. I’ve gone without fast food for 2 months and on 2 months and 1 day, I go to McDonald’s.
